kept putting it off but had time yesterday so i decided to clean UIM, I forgot to take pics of UIM before and after but here is a pic of the dirty LIM.

mine looked pretty close to that when i did mine a while back. tho 1 port of each pair was alot cleaner looking then the other any ideas?

the secondaries seemed to be dirtier, my guess is because there closed before 4,000 so stuff builds up there quicker. This was with 53,000 miles, the UIM wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, wish i would have cleaned LIM but didnt have the time for all that.

I soaked the UIM in simple green, worked ok. Then used a toothbrush and intake/carb cleaner to get the rest of the gunk off.
