I was looking at a mystique in a parking lot and I thought the hood was pretty phat. Has anyone put the hood on a CSVT. I would like to see how it looks.

I don't think it would fit with the oval grill.
What is the difference in hoods besides the shape at the end to match the grills?

thats weird, I was actually thinking about this today and thought it would look good. I know I've seen a pic of a silver mystyque with an svt body kit and it looked sweet. Can't remember the guys name though, I think he was from canada IIRC.

There are plenty of "SVT Mystiques" in this club... Just gotta do a good search for them...

I was looking to do the reverse to my Mystique. I think the hood, grille, and headlights would be most of what needed to be replaced. The fenders look the same, but I'd hate to get half-way through the project and notice missing parts.

BTW - is your car black by chance?

EDIT: I just learned how to read, and noticed it was silver :/

Ok, I'm pretty sure the headlights, grill, and fenders would have to be switched... Also, from what I have heard, you might have to do a bit of cutting around the bumper..

The fenders wouldnt have to be changed, theyre the same as Mondeos and Contours, thats why they STILL have holes there
