yah - totally sucks.. i posted in the wheel/tire forum too - you guys who think my car was lowered, it may have been (prior to my owning it) - all four inside edges is a sign of lowering

FYI, my car is not lowered (I'm the only owner ) and the insides of my tires wear a little quicker than the rest of the tires. My allignment shouldn't be out, but who knows. Anyway, I think it may be somewhat common on our cars.
As far as costco goes, make sure you check the build date on the tire...forget how but I know there's a code on the side of the tire that tells you when it was made. My girlfriend got tires from costco a while back and they were made in the mid 90's!
