I don't think so, the mounting depth of the caliper to the rotor would be the same, so the bolts should be carry over. Nonetheless, for your own peace of mind you might want to install new ones anyway.

Hey Tony let me know how this goes for you... I'm interested in upgrading to SVT brakes this spring as well. If it is just the brackets hopefully it will be pretty cheap (besides larger rotors..)

Thanks

Can you give me a price for the front rotors and pads. Also if you have cadium plating avaliable quote me that price. I have already upgraded the rear drums to disks!

EDIT:

I was just quoted $270 cdn for the pair of caliper brakets for a 2000 CSVT!!!!

$130(+ shipping) for a set of front rotors and pads.

Cadmium plating on OEM style rotors is not available.

Doing just the fronts would be fine. This is because the rear biasing is soooooo weak on our cars that going to the trouble of converting to discs is probably not worth it unless you are planning SERIOUES track work. Just upgrading the fronts to the SVT size rotors will make more than enough difference for most people.

And like I said before, I can supply you with the pads and rotors to do this but you WILL need to get SVT caliper brackets to suit a 2000 SVT from the dealer, to complete the transformation.
