OP TheStrongsvilleSVT_dup1 Newbie T Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 8 Strongsville, Ohio	I dont know if all contours alternaters are behind the wheel well buti know the svts are, i was driving mine today and it was raining and i was forced to go through a few puddles, and when i went through them i thought my car was going to die, the battery light came on and the car almost stalled,does anyone know if theres anything i can do to keep it from getting wet 98 csvt-sold 98 honda accord lx

Was there a high-pitched screeching sound? You might want to check if the belt needs to be replaced. 96 Contour SE Duratec V6 24-valve 2.5L ATX 108,000 mi. If you can see the crank pully from under the fender, than it is missing. It needs to be in place to stop the water from splashing on the belt.
