Is anybody going to the CART race in Denver? My son (MinesMystique) and I are going on Sunday. I scored some tickets from a vendor.

Nope, can't make it. No tickets and no time, unfortunately.

I'm supposed to be on the Pit Fire Team. Getting to work right in the pits is gonna be fun, but with my luck, that won't happen. Well, we'll see.

My pops and I may be going down I have to see if I'm working that weekend. CU vs. CSU game is also going on that weekend so parking is going to be a biatch.

For those that don't live in Denver you should see downtown over the last week or so. They've been laying out all the concrete barricades where the cars will run and setting up all kinds of seating. Its pretty cool to see a race track being setup in the middle of downtown. Somebody thats going needs to come by and pick up my digital camera to take with them. I WANT PICS!!!

Does anyone know what time the race starts on Sunday?

I so wish I could go....I have a annual labor day camping trip that I go on with a bunch of friends. I would ditch it for racing but a buddy of mine is moving and this will be his last camping trip. Somebody has to take pics... My roomate fran wants to go with someone (i will be out of town) anyone that is going and remmebers Fran..Send him an e-mail at mistert@toughguy.net.

I believe the CART race starts at 1. There is a Trans-am race after the CART race and a vintage car race before it. I can't wait. The best part will be getting to go into the paddock before the race. Dad has a digital cam, so we will be taking lots of pictures.

If anybody wants tickets to Saturday's practice rounds, which are the best. I have a friend who is selling his due to the football game. Let me know soon though.
