About 3 mos. ago my stock clutch went and I had Ford replace it. During the last few months, I've noticed that anytime I "lazy-shift" (shifting slow @ low rpms) or shift at rpms higher than 3500....shortly following that I feel a wave of heat around my feet all the way up to my waist. It travels up the steering column as well, so sometimes I feel it on my hands and it is only on the driver's side. I also notice that when I get on it and pop the clutch under high rpm shifting (while I'm racing), you can hear, what to me sounds like the clutch slipping. Could these two issues be related or what? any suggestions? One more symptom, when I pull the car in the garage, obviously i'm not going fast and I can hear "metal banging" as I slowly engage the clutch, especially in reverse, and occassionally at slow speeds the car "jerks" after the gear has been engaged with a slight throbbing in the clutch pedal when depressed.....and I also have difficulty getting the car in gear when I'm stopped. Is it the clutch, synchros, tranny, linkage, anyone????? If anyone could make a suggestion....I have an appointment with ford on monday, so I would like to be somewhat prepared when I go in there.

Thanks.
