Well I think the sound is a little better when revving high and it seemed to me that I could feel a little more power. I know intakes only give you maybe 5 to 10 hp but I'd like to think I can notice the difference Plus I think the Weapon R looks better.

10hp? I think not.
2-5 maybe. 10hp if accompanied with some serious exhaust work.

I have a KKM and like it...I think the Weapon-R does looks better, but I spoke to a guy at a car show that had a weapon-R on an SVT and he said he hated it. he said that the sponge filter sucked. He said its an all show piece.

Build your own. Get a MAF adapter (from BAT for example, or used) and a conical K&N.

That is definitely the way to go...i have tried both the weapon R and S&B that comes with the KKM. The Weapon R doesn't get heat soak as much because the filter is held in place by plastic. The KKM S&B on my car would attempt to implode on me. When idling with a quick goose of the throttle the S&B filter would sort of "crush in" or implode. This made me think that the s+b KKM filter does not have enough surface area. I am going to go with the larger MAF adapter and a large ass K&N or S&B filter...The Weapon R is junk! It also made a crazy ass air rattling noise when the secondaries kicked in.

i love my kkm,and it doesn't implode..i am very happy with the performance of it..my car had a conical k+n on it when i bought it,and the kkm totally outperforms it in every way..just my $.02 though..

by the way, rarely do aftermarket make the advertised hp claims in real world situations..their tests are done under different circumstances...i seriously doubt that you would see more than a 5 hp gain from any of these cai kits..
