sweet,and my neighbor just got a new mailbox the other day..guess what i'll be doing about 4:00 in morning...lol... good idea though i've been looking around for something to use,i just might have to try that..

make sure it is plastic and the wide model. all the other ones were metal and a little thinner, but they would not fit around the filter. The wife is keeping me to the "ghetto mods" that you are talking about. It makes it kinda hard to do things.

p.s. I only have a scanner and the pics are getting developed. Should be up on monday or so. hope you can wait till then. I'll post them in the pics section so keep your eye out.

heh...
its a thick adhesive/rubberish insulation with a thin layer of reflective aluminum sheeting on one side. Used to insulate piping.
