i crafted one myself using the lower half of the original airbox. drilled a hole in the bottom and ran a induction tube to the front bumper. blitz filter sitz in it fine and touch after driving heat is a NOTICEABLE difference!

For $7.00? I can't think of anything for that cheap. What did you make it out of?

I'm voting for a leftover pizza box.

You guys had some good guesses and one of you got it....
It is a large plastic mailbox for 5.99 plus some rubber hose for the top trim. The width is uncanny how well it fit. Still working on the pics. It starts on the tb side of the maf.
1. place the mailbox on top of the intake and mark what length to cut it at and do it.
2. there should be some excess trim on the bottom side of the mailbox where the mounting brackets go. get rid of it so it can sit flat in the engine bay.
3. remove maf and put mailbox half inplace.
4. hold intake tube to where it rests and mark where to cut the circle hole that the maf goes through.
5. while the box is still in place, mark the hight of both sides giving it a little extra room in top.
6. drill out a circle (i used a circle cutter)large enough for the maf to fit through.
7. cut the top of the box on the marks. Remember to leave extra. the plastic will be flexible enough to bend down a little. if you take too much then the top won't seal against the hood.
8. slide maf through the hole and place the whole thing in the engine compartment.
9. mount maf to intake hose and make sure everything clears.
10. cut three pieces of hose to fit the top three edges of the mailbox and slice them down the middle. cut 45 degree angles on the corners and slide them over the edges. Done.

Now go for a test drive and marvel at how much power you retain after the engine warms up the compartment. I am still amazed.
