Hey guys,

Thought I would brag a bit about my NEW car. My new paint job that is. After 2 weeks in the paint shop, I finally picked up my freshly painted 98.5 SVT. They had stripped the car down to the metal on the entire top half of the car (including trunk, and hood) and repainted - The bill.......about $550 for me and $550 for Ford. I gave them an extra $250 to repaint the front bumper, fixing a crack and filling the holes where the license plate bracket used to be.

In addition, they stripped the clearcoat off of the front and rear fenders, top to bottom, and re-clearcoated them. As a finishing touch, they removed some wavy dents and buffed the entire car.

I have never seen the car looking so good!

Oh, and last night I met a guy with a Sentra SER Spec V and we got to talkin cars. He said to me, "that's a 2002 right?". Pretty flattering comment for a 4 year old car.

I'm glad you were happy with the work, Harry. Shame about what happened that night in the parking lot, though... At least it all worked out in the end, more or less....

Jeff,

Just a word to say I did not leave the country. Just been very busy. I believe I owe you a few bucks...I'll try and give you a call tonight.
