Hey Ryan,
What's up? Nathan here, just going to whine a bit about my car, then I will move along. Drove to Minneapolis last weekend, and the check-engine light came on AGAIN. it's running fine, but i thought i'd take it in to get it checked out. after the dealer raped me for $80 to run the diagnostics, they said the car needs a new cat monitor among other things......around $600 worth. I am really starting to dislike both that dealership and my car. Was hoping we could get together sometime this week or next and use the car to spark a bonfire. Just post here and let me know what works for you.

Cat Monitor? Sounds like a load of bull to me. Unless he is using some fancy language to tell you that the O2 sensor is shot. If it's something simple like that about any of us Iowa guys can fix it for you.
Since you know Ryan I'm assuming you're in the QC area? Anyways, welcome to the Iowa forums.

How's this sound, call me. As far as a plan of attack, I still have the Y-pipe / cat from my svt exhaust, we can put that on and while were down there check the O2 sensors. We can also get the UIM cleaned like we had planned. Thats all the more I can say for now. I don't suppose the dealership actually told you the codes? If not, we can head to Autozone and find them out. I'm betting (like Rick said) It's a load of bull and will be a hell of alot cheaper than 600 to fix. (Quit goin' to the dealership in DBQ, They always over quote and have never given you a straight answer!!!!!)
