well as for the request for more traffic I thought this might help. A friend of mine bought an SVT 2 months ago, worked well for a week then started having lots of problems, came on here and asked for help (heres the thread nathan\'s problem ) . The answer to his problem is not listed in the thread however it was a free fix, I performed it and never thought it would fix the problem. Can you guys figure it out (or at least get close) I'll post the answer in a couple days.

hmmmmmmm, I don't know alot about it, but maybe the TH Fix????? Although I don't see how that would cause poor gas mileage and all. Chit, I have no clue.

Sounds like a bad TPS sensor or something of the like. I'd check fuel delivery first and also probably pop the manifold and see how badly gunked up the intake assembly is.

Ok, your right about it being on the intake side Rick, but I didn't touch the TPS and didn't have the time to pop the manifold and check it (but when both Nate and I have the time I plan on cleaning it). The real problem was caused by a screen between the stock airbox and the MAF slipping and putting the edge of the screen right in front of the MAF sensor. I didn't even realize the dang screen was in there (it's not in mine but I guess it's in the svt's). When we pulled things apart to try and at least get a look at the TB, the screen was in there blocking the sensor, so we set it in there straight, disconected the battery to get rid of the CEL and it's run great ever since. The best part was I got a free KKM out of the deal (Nate had it, didn't like it because it whistles in his car, so he just gave it to me.)
