choked or jumpy throttle

I have a 98'SVT and the throttle seems to be bogged down or doesnt kick in like it should until about 3000 rpms. It seems like it is slowing my car down. Anybody have any ideas?

First post I see...use the search wisely as many topics have been covered early...I don't think you have a problem the gas on the SVT is extremely jumpy when you press it quickly. The slowness below 3000 rpm is because the secondaries havent opened up yet then the engine screams...just an annoying charachteristic of the car. Or perhaps maybe I have the same problem?! eek But I doubt it.
