FYI - I have found some *very* attractive local roads that offer both challenge and opportunities to go really, really fast. laugh

I've assembled a loop that is about 30 miles in length that includes some great windies, some riverbottom sprint zones, and a few hills.

On one of the sprints, I hit 138, uphill with a quartering headwind. Woohoo! cool

I heartily recommend that we convene some weekend soon at my place and do the loop. Interest check!

I've been there! Great place to test out your suspension! Those roads are VERY curvy! I must warn you though... I got a ticket for going 78mph in a 55mph and I even had a radar detector!

That's why I like central Iowa. So flat you can see them coming! I tell people back in NM that the roads in Iowa are so straight, even the curves are straight!
