Dude I saw your post on your mods. I see how you pay for this, but what I don't see is the Contour being your daily driver. You are going to be driving the beater ALL the time now huh? Your car is going to start up and have this crazy a** sound. Probably won't sound like an SVT. It will either sound like a V8 Taurus SHO since you have some of it's mods or a Rocket. You need to get a huge NASA sticker for it. I am going to see this b****. So once it's done call me and I will be on my way up. YOUR A FRIGGEN ANIMAL DUDE.

Glad you approve Sam! Yes I still plan on the SVT being my daily driver. I've had enough of the beater to last me a good long time! I should have it running before I come down on the 6th of April. If I do, you can be guaranteed what I'll be driving down.

Actually I've all ready got a custom plate for it, but I'm not letting that out until you see it in person!

Hey Rick this is James from DMVR with the blue ZX2. My brother was at the stereo shop talking to the guy here locally, and they got to talking about AUTO X. He was like yeah some guy in a Contour SVT crashed his car. My brother asked what color it was an the guy's name. He was like it was a silver one, and I think the guy's name is Brian. My brother was asking if it was rick, he was like no. He told him that he had the video on the computer, he was supposed to email it to me but never did. Can you email it to me so I can see it. I am glad to hear you made it out ok. eek I don't plan on doing any auto x this year, but I might come up and watch. What HP numbers are you putting down now?

James, it was indeed me that wrecked my car. I rolled it in Marshalltown. You can download the video Here Beware though, it is 16 megs hence the reason you can't email it back and forth.

I haven't had a chance to get the new car running yet, but I'm hoping to have it fired up in the next two weeks. BTW, there is a DMVR event on Sunday at the DMACC transport institute if you guys want to go. I'll be busy working on the car though. If you are up for a road trip I'll be around all day Saturday working on the car. Drop me a PM and I'll give you my cell and directions.

Well Rick sorry I can't make it this weekend. I got my own project going on. I am rebuilding my 78 bronco, so I am off all weekend and am going to put all my time into it. That looked like a pretty knarly crash, that is one reason I didn't want to go to Marshalltown. I would rather be in an open parking lot, so that if I made an error or had a mechanical failure something like that wouldn't happen. I think if I was in your position I would have CRIED!!!!!!!!!!! mad I might come up some weekend and see your new ride. I was reading you list of mods eek Looks very impressive. I did a little work to my ZX2, I added 17's threw a body kit on, CF hood, stock foglight bumper with aftermarket fogs, and a aftermarket cd player. Check my link in the signature to see new pics of my car.
