You know, I have doing alot of hunting in our area to locate a shop that deals with anything for mid-sized cars, and have turned up jack squat. It seems that everyone is either catering to the old hot rod crowd, or to the trolls (imports). So, while tossing around a few ideas with PhatSVT, I have decided to open a new speed shop. It will cater to everyone, older rods to (I'm gonna hurt myself saying this) imports. I have sent in dealer applications to a number of companies, and should be getting so responses back this week. Next week I will start looking for a location. I will need some help on weekends, so if anyone wants to get some free stuff and shop time, let me know. Oh, and all my buds here in STL> free installation and burgers. Like I said, I will be hearing back from some manufactures this week. Just a few I've contacted: Momo, Sparco, Reactive, TSW, American Racing, Flowmaster, Borla, Holley, Jacobs, MSD, VP Racing fuel, NGK, Bosch, Mallory, Colorado Customs, and the list goes on. So, what do you think? This should be able to take off, since it'll be the only one in the area. Oh, and if it does go down, I'll need help setting up shop. I will also be attemping to get imported stuff cheaper. If anyone has any ideas of other companies I should contact, let me know. Tim

Tim look at NOPI, APC (American Products Company) and Greddy. You will also need to find a good body kit place for all of the imports. If you are also looking at getting into the stereo business I know a company up in Chicago that sells stereo equipment at wholesale or below. I will find out some other distributors later. If you need any help at all you have my phone number. Good Luck.

Maybe I need to leave the going nowhere technology world and get into this fast growing industry. Seriously, if I could find a way to put six figures in the bank every year and combine my computer and car passions, I'd be near the pinnacle of Mazlo's Hierarcy of needs. Good Luck, TB

Daaaaamn Tim, I've thought seriously about doing the same thing. Trying to talk Mr Noon into going in with me, but neither of us is in any hurry to give up our stable jobs quite yet!
In any case, might try contacting Baer brakes in your list. I'm probably in the market for a full setup for my car- hint, hint
