does anyone know any auto shops that will do good exhaust work. i have a pair of dynomax mufflers, and wanted to know where to get them put on. really im more worried about where not to go, but any reccomendations would be appreciated.

im kind of new to town(from chicago) and arent to familiar with the area yet so i really appreciate this. thanks.

ok i brought this back up so as not to start a new exactly same thread.

i got rid of the dynomax mufflers. i got them used for cheap, but they were crap. so ive decided to get a edelbrock 5503 to replace the res. and cut the rear mufflers. and if ive got enough money left maybe get a y-pipe. i still havent found a good place to do work for me. i havent looked too hard though, as ive been really busy between school and work. i did get reccomended to a meinke. would they do good work on a custom setup like this? anyways, as always, i really appreciate the advice or any other help you all give me.

if you saw it, there is a pretty similar question in the performance board, but i thought id narrow it down a little. thanks again

There is a place in O'fallon just outside of St.Charles called " Fred's fair muffler and brake and their is a guy named Dale who is the $hit when it comes to custom exhaust here is the phone # 636-379-8502. Check them out cause they are cheap and some times he will do it on the side after hours as long as you talk to Dale.
