95's have a different puter, the kit would work, bu would require a custom tuned chip inplace of the one VOrtech provides. Other obsticles may occur, but that would be the major one

I was thinking about the T/C until the tranny went south last week, rebuilding it will cost me around $2500. Thats money that I wasn't planning to spend on repairs. so $7200(4500US) for T/C or $4200(2600US) for the S/C is something to think about right now. Kris how much did you get your zex kit for? I'm trying to buy one off a friend he is asking $700CND. Its new still in the box, is that a good deal?

yeah thats a little cheaper than retail, if you want help with the install ill be back in town on the 22nd or so, biggest problem i had was running the stupid vaccum lines (in the end i just ripped my zex kit apart, works better now)

Where is a good place to buy a S/C? I'm in the market!........By the way, if I buy a new S/C, how can I tell if it has the new input/drive shaft assembly

sprmonky I hate to tell you this but the deal I'm getting is a one time deal its a favour from a friend that owns a local shop here in Edmonton. The going price is $5200CND but I'm getting $1000 off. Kris I was told that the installation for a zex kit is pretty simple but I've never done that kind of work before. I'll probably have lots of question to ask when you come back.

hey.. no one got back to me on this.. if your main shaft in the s/c dies.. does it also pooch the engine? and if it does will vortec warranty it because of manufactures stupidity?

shaft failure does not harm the engine, although when the shaft failed it sounded like all hell broke loose. -Mark

"man, i think my turbo is going out..." the bearings failed and the shaft was just letting the compressor wheel GRIND the housing. luckily, it didnt break the impeller apart so he didnt have to go fishing for pieces throughout his engine...
