I was wondering if anyone knew if the jackson racing
S/C for the focus zetec would fit on to a contique without any major modifications. I'd appriciate some opinons on this since I'm thinking the S/C route over nitrous and a turbo.

Have you tried contacting them? That would work great with your auto since the roots type SC adds a ton of low end and you don't have to wait for the thing to spool up. Plus they are esier to install...

it will fit but I'm not sure if major work would be needed to make it work on the tour. I think it has been talked about in the Zetec section try looking around in there I would but hey I'm too lazy right now.

To make a long story short...get Terrys Turbo.

The JC S/C cost about $3,000 and gives about a 20 lb/ft increase in torque. HP isn't very much either. NOT worth the money in my opinion. Plus we've(Zetec owners)been told directly by Jackson Racing that it wouldn't fit on the Contour. Differences in the engine bay if I remember correctly, throttle bodies also a problem.

Heck yeah, get Terry's turbo and rip up Cobra's and F-Bodies up at strip. The SC's gains will be much less than than the turbo route.

The turbo upgrade takes a 16 second car and then beats mid 13 second Cobras, Z's and T/a's  I'm sure its a HUGE improvement, but by no means a "miracle worker", I mean over 3 second improvement, do you know how much HP it would take to do that, not to mention proper gearing and heres the most important thing TRACTION wink
