Terry I feel the same way I would much rather spend alot more money on your kit that that other guys. I have tried to ask him MANY questions about it and he won't answer a single question. I think all the CEG zetec guys trust your work as I do and would rather go with someone we know and trust that some unknown guy. and Considering the guys is using 42# injectors and says they are being maxed out and worldtour is on the 19# injectors and putting do the same kind of numbers and he said his weren't being maxed out says to me thee is something seriuosly wrong with this that other guys setup.

I like the thought of individual parts...I'd never have the personal restraint to save up $2500...but $300 here, $200 there...I can work with that!

I think the piece by piece system may have more benefit in the long run since most Zetec guys don't drop a lot of money in the car. I'd still like to buy the whole kit. $2600 IS a lot of money but I've got it and want a kit. I'm looking forward to taking apart the engine to lower the cr! To the people that don't want to do that...take it to a shop! You want more HP but you don't want to actually turn a wrench to get it. Just take it somewhere and let them take care of it for you.

So, how much can you break down the kit to make it 'affordable' for some people. What I mean is...you can't exactly buy one side of the Turbo. Buying just the unit alone is probably half the cost of the kit. Then buy the plumbing in a package, then the de-compression gasket, header and fuel 'system' in a package. Thats most everything isn't it? I guess it could help but how would it really work...you'll probably end up having to charge more when its bought in pieces. Plus you have to have each 'package' shipped seperately. It'll end up costing more by the time you get everything together...IMO.

Just my thoughts...

Hey Terry, u should definately sell the high perofrmance kit!

But I'm on the look out for some decomp gaskets if you have any ready to sell, now. Cos the guy I was going to get them off of has proved un-reliable! Typical.

Oh something else you could help me with, whats the duty cycle of the standard 2.0 injectors, and flow rates, also how much can a MAF flow before bottoming out?

you guys crack me up here is a kit that you can ride in that has been out for 6 months that many people have taken rides in even one of your own guys on this board has seen it run and out run his vortec car by leaps and bounds

and to the guy that sais i dont answer his questions .i answered every question you asked me

as for the injectors ,go to focaljet and ask mr pressurized in okc he thought the same thing and with only 208hp at the wheel he used 87% of his injectors

and yes my kit is 5200.00 with injectors, ported 70mm mass air,and a custom chip to make it all work

here it is ,this is what it does 302hp and 301 tq at the wheels,
if you think it is to high in price ,please tell me what you are compairing it to and show me a dyno sheet, you cant there isnt one,no one else is making one that lives and makes this type of HP

if you think a 2600 to 3200 kit ,then blowing your engine ,like the guys on focaljet is cheeper than mine ,hay its your money

Worldtour is using a FMU to bump up the fuel pressure considerably. That is how you can make the 19 # injectors feed 300 hp. 1turbofocus is using the 42's with stock fuel pressure...plus he has 2 less cylinders to do it, so that requires more fuel to each cylinder as well.

Speed kills, but it beats going slow!

and when I talked to mark about it he said that something is wrong if he is maxing out 42lb injectors.

1Turbofocus,
First let me tell you that my car is 6 years old w/70K miles on it. While you may be able to just bolt up 18psi to your nearly new engine; I can't, it's that simple. Many of the contours on this board have too many miles and too much wear on the existing components to run your kit. The only kit I see as a viable option FOR MY CAR is Terry's and if he won't sell it I will just go w/ my original plan and stay N/A.

1turbofocus,

aren't you running on like 100+ octane? is that necessary to not blow up your ride? can i run pump premium? will i still achieve 302hp?

also, would i have to bring my car to your shop or your chip guy to get my chip burned? or who can i find to burn me a chip?

thanks!
