I know there are major concerns with oil/driveshaft problems with vortech kit, but what is Vortech doing about them? Does anyone know why the kit would not work with pre-98 cars? Thanks for the help.

It should work with pre 98 cars...I dont see why it wouldn't. The only problem is with the post 99 cars, wtih returnless fuel systems. I'm not saying that it will fit, just that it should.

I think its because pre 98 cars used OBDI computers versus the 98 and newer cars using OBDII.

Its funny how none of the answers fit the question that was asked.

"there are major concerns with oil/driveshaft problems with vortech kit, but what is Vortech doing about them?"

One of the SC guys should know, but I thought they were strengthening the keyway on the pulley. I don't know about the oiling issue.
