ok, everyone keeps talking about this turbo and all the hp and crap,
the real question is, what CAN I OWN with this kit, with 300 hp in my zetec what cars can i take... even a broad veiw would be nice

Just to put things in perspective here. HP = $$$ OK.I dont advise either of these kits if you have a tired engine.Once again everyone complains at no aftermarket parts for Contour....HMS Inc is a FULL TIME outfit,we dont do the researrch and then go off to our 'day job'.We have a good shop and are building on that...please dont keep slamming the small guy (me!),who is very dedicated to this car and getting more aftermarket 'goodies' out there.It all takes time & $,if you cant wait ...buy a Honda!

Any word on the cost of adding an intercooler? Will I be able to purchase an intercooler 'add-on' after I get the kit? Will the kit be available to order soon? Thanks

Within two weeks I hope to have engine dyno run plots,pics and status on cost/performance of the intercooler,yes it can be added later if req.Once we have all the information and can pass it to you,then we will accept orders.

Terry, here is the link to the ZX2.com forums ... their site is down, but the message board isn't: http://pub76.ezboard.com/bzx23270 Like I stated before, the ZX2 uses the same Zetec as the rest. The Escorts unfortunately have a sorry tranny (M5 - also refered to as the G5M). I am not sure of the power potential of the tranny, but I am sure it would most definitely fail if not driven properly on boost ... consider it job security
