Thats right, It's finally time to rip out the 2.5
Took my tool box, pulled it into the garage and opened the hood. Looked at it, and I didn't know where to start so i close the hood and said forget it. No I'm just playing, I did actually start ripping apart the engine bay tonight. Only problems I seem to be having was trying to remove the claps for the hoses. What a pain in the ass. Anyway, wish me lots of LUCK, I will probably need it all. I'll keep you updated as long as CEG is still kicking.

My car is a 96, so it has a return fuel system and has side feed injectors...I need some options on what I could do here. I have some 24# top feed injectors that I wouldn't mind using. So do they make a top feed return fuel rail for the tour. If they do then what year car would it be? ?

TIA
Jeremy

Use a '98-'99 return system fuel rail. You will have to lengthen the fuel lines on your car a few inches since the rail feeds are slightly shorter, but the connections are the same style for the lines. This will allow you to use top feed injectors and even your factory injector wiring harness if the correct year injectors are used.

What is the safe way to lenghtern the fuel lines? I have the '98 fuel rail and will be using it. But I don't wanna find out it's leaking after putting everything back together.

Damn! That doesn't sound too safe to me... Crimp on clamps... But if that's the only way to do it, then I'm down! laugh
