How "drop in" is the LS engine ?

mount mods/cooling hookup mods(m/c) ,oil/pick up mods,fuel sustem mods,intake man mods(m/c) etc etc..about 3-4 time the prep of a taurus V6..... wink

Not very, as in almost all of us DIY'ers would struggle(putting it mildly) to fab up all the necessary mounts, mating it with the tranny, etc. As much as I'd like to be involved in doing the work on my car there are times when you have to swallow your pride and let the pros (Terry) get to work smile

Now I just gotta keep saving up for my LS!!!

terry...how much would you say that this project would cost? what makes this engine so much better for tunning?

It's nice to plan for the future, but:

Tomorrow is just that, tomorrow;

while Today is the here and now. I am enjoying the fruits of my labors everytime I get in the car and drive. Whats more, I can do more to it every time I find a little more money and time.

IMHO: Put your money where you mouth is and start doing something. Talk only as much as you need and let actions speak louder.
