I came away with 196.1 and 183.3 after tuning the safc. I was actually running rich after 4000 and we reduced fuel to achieve a 12.5 a/f ratio from 4500 on up. I was very surprised cause i thought i was needing fuel not needing to take it awsy. well i am very happy considering I am all stock except for a kkm that has like 60000 miles on it and like 30000 since last cleaned. hopefully with 2.5 exhaust 80mm maf 65mm tb and y pipe i can get near 215/220 and with headers a little closer to the 220 mark.

Nice numbers! Oh so close to the magical 200 fwhp mark. Once you get that intake/exhaust work done, that will be one mean machine.

BTW, are you going to Spring Zing? Or AIS at Cecil County on April 20? I'd love to run our cars against each other to see which configuration was stronger (bigger valve vs. higher compression).

What Upper and Lower intake did you use? also what year was the 3L

Great numbers!!! These are very encouraging to me since I am going to have close to the same setup 3l w/3l heads svt cams. Once I get my car back it is going to the dyno. I post some number also.

He used the 98 E0 Return style Upper and lower intake on a 2001 3L engine that had 4 mile on it.
That thing still isn't broke in yet!!!

Are u guys getting on me. Im sorry I had conversations going in two diff forums. Yea i don't have tons of posts but i think i have read every post on here. Well guys i hope this marks help ppl see what a good baseline would be with my settup. Next few steps are gonna ge to open up the LIM and UIM and get my bolt on cause the cars intake and exhaust is stock. except for the porting and polishing of heads.

From the first run you did to the run you finished with after tuning with the S-AFC, how much HP did you gain?

If you add larger MAF, larger TB, exhaust and headers, you should see at least 220 whp....i wouldnt be surprised if you saw more than that....
