Terry Haines Member T Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 5,805 Rockford Mi USA	Exhaust valves are a higher temp matl (Nimonic) .They operate at a higher temp than the intakes,which are cooled by the incoming charge.In most conditions the exhausts operate with a slight 'glow'so they must resist oxidization better than intakes.I would not use intakes in place or exhausts...'The China Syndrome....'core melt down'... OP chezterr Member C Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 460 palmdale, ca	Thanks Terry, I suppose I should be content with being able to use the 35mm intake valves from the 3.0L head......I can always go get some custom stainless 32mm valves from Manley or some other manufacturer. The price is pretty reasonable, about $12-15 a piece..... Nik 1999 Mercury Cougar V6 KKM Intake,SVT TB, SVT Upper/Lower, 19lb injectors, Diablo Chip, MSDS Headers, Custom Exhaust, B&M Short Shifter, Progress Lowering Springs, 18" Axis TC's, OMP Strut Bar, AAM 24mm Rear Sway Bar, Koni Struts 15.09 @ 91.54(corrected, pre-SVT conversion, DiabloChip, and Injectors)
