has anyone tried to put a 3L crank and rods or just crank in a svt engine. i have a svt engine in my garage and i have time to fool around with it does anyone think that this could work. any info would be helpful. and yes i did search and all i got was sho shop 3L conversion.thanx

3L Duratech is a BORED 2.5 if you want to look at it that way. Exact same stroke at the 2.5.

Just to clarify, the crank and rods are pretty much the same (prolly identical) between the 2.5L and the 3L, the big difference is in the cylinder bore.
It's all about balance.
