Hi all,
My nephew who was born and raised in Pennsylvania that now lives in Norflok with his Dad (for 2 years) is missing. We are getting conflicting stories of what happened. 1) that he got mad and took off (he is 17)and just never came home and 2) The police report says he left a note that he was going to the Hampton bridge fishing and would return the next day. Either way it happened he has been gone alomst a week and a half with no contact...and now we are unable to get info from his Dad because his step-grandfather will not let us talk to his Dad and gives us nothing but attitude when we call down. His name is Brett Shaffer he is 6'3" tall has green eyes, sandy to lt. brown hair and could easily pass for an adult. He is of slim build and has a birth mark on the back of his neck at the base of his skull. He attends Chesapeake Bay Academy and just finished 9th grade there, where he was on the basketball, and basaball teams. If any one has information or knows of someone who might or has contacts in that area that could help we would be forever greatful. He is 17 and only in the 9th grade? Kinda old...

Thanks for everyone's prayers. He has now been gone 18 days with no word..we are worried out of our minds, but clinging to faith in the good Lord that he is safe and will call someone soon. In answer to the question as why he is 17 and going into 10th grade..he failed twice when things were really bad between his mom and ex-step-dad..He had really gotten himself turned around and was doing good....what brought this one we will only know when he is found and brought home(back to Pa.) where he won't have to deal the the Step-grandfather being an A$$ to him all the time.. As I said thank for the prayers and please keep him in your thoughts!!
