Hey I put some more pics on here from april of the contour and a few of other miscelaniouse things. check em out in my profile if you want ...If you have negative comments about the car ..then dont tell me cause I dont want ta hear em.
If you have positive, neutral or suggestions ..lemme know. There are more pics than I posted yesterday and the picture of me is not to be judged negative or neutral ..if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say it at all =o)

need bigger wheels...
and you need to tuck your tubes!! I cant stand it when people show the tubes... tuck em, and let em glow... dont show em..

I was concerned with adding bigger wheels , I know alot of people in here were running with some pretty large dubs however with the amount of drop I was going to do I was concerned about having room to steer the front tires. And after paying for all that **** I didnt have enough money to have the speedometer recalibrated. Maybe someday. And where do you want me to tuck my tubes eh? Where should I put em? yeah your right there is nowhere they will fit and be hidden. Happily much to mmy advantage when the ground effects kit is on ..tubes will be tucked =o)

well im not sayin get monster wheels or nothing... just go with 18"s they look good, and put a 35 series tire on it, or a 40 series and your speedo will only be a hair off...

get an SVT kit, or some SE side skirts and that will hide dem tubes nicely!!

my only concern is handling. I am making the car up to be able to handle really well in cornering and what not and plan on dropping 2 inches and get the ground effects kit and I didnt want to be rubbin them tires. You should see the crazy work I am going to do to it. The group is going to disown me. I am dropping a 8 thousand dollar audio system in in a few days and I am welding my doors shut in the back and replacing the windows with sheet metal and having everything painted...crazy ..yes ..I will post my photo log

1.) Konis, Konis, Konis, I cant say it any better
2.) GCs, GCs, GCs, or if you dont want adjustablitiy, you want something preset, I recommend the H&R pro sport progressive springs from www.spmotorsports.com Very nice!! I have them, with 17's and no rub! and the ride handles like a dream from stock,... just ask carrot_top(hello curve in VA goin to the meet!! )

So your best bet is to go with Konis and H&Rs with 17's with a 215/40-17 tire!! that is what I have, minus the Konis(yeah, im still kickin myself in the arse for that one!)

now for sound...

1.) I give you hands down props! I have always wanted to do that, I sunk over 2grand into my sound stereo!! so Go ahead, I wont disown you!

so you get an idea of Tour with kit and rollin on 17's with the SVT kit... here you are..

ok maybe not. Are thos tires 45's?
I also heard that when drag racing with low profile tires you are more likely to get tire hop because of the hardened walls and lack of flex but that has nothing to do with anything.

Yeah the sound system should be pretty killer ..I am scared. Its going to be a contour panel van lol. I am gonna have to put a 3.0 in there just to haul around an estimated 432 lbs of equipment.
but then the window glass in rear is going, the rear seets are going, all plastic trim inside the trunk and carpet is going,rear deck is getting stripped, door panels are being reformed from carbon fiber if everything goes as planned. and I am going with light weight racing seats from corbeau. that should make up for a little bit of it.

which seats are you gettin from corbeau?
