The throttle body is attached to that accordian hose that goes to your air filter. Detach that hose from the throttle body, open the butterfly valve and spray all in there with some air-intake cleaner. You might want to use the whole can. Then reattach the hose, start the car and go drive it.

Be careful with throttle body cleaners. Make sure they are compatible with OX sensors and your cats. And even if they are, expect to receive a "Check Engine" warning message light up on your instrument cluster. If this happens, remove the positive battery cable for a few hours, then reinstall it. Turn off all electrical items (radio, blower moter, etc.). Let the engine find a stable idle, then let it remain there for at least 1 minute. Then turn on the A/C and let it stay on for 1 minute. Now go out and drive the car for about 10 minutes.

Use the throttle body sparingly. You can use gasoline or the throttle body cleaner on a rag to clean the interior surfaces of the throttle body which mate to the butterfly valve.

I have found the OX and cat sensors to be pretty sensitive on my car.
