alright, it was early November of last year i think

my parents and I went through the trading post or whatever and circled a bunch of stuff. went to check some out.

test drove some bare-boned toyota thing, some Oldsmobile old person car, then lastly the greeeeen 1995 contour. i thought it was kinda cute, but didn't know if i really liked it.

we bought it though, and then i hated it.

but it grew on me very quickly after that little dislike session (cause i didnt think it was very cool) and now i think its quuaallity.. hehe

i wish i had a story bout how my tour came to be but i dont have one b/c i dont own it yet!! grr

that guy was just lying about some other dude signing papers, right??!! eeeeek

yea i believe he was lieing or atleast i hope so!! dad is supposed to call the guy back like today or tomorrow and try to talk him down even more... we got him down to 10,500 so far... keep your fingers crossed that he goes down more!!!!!

When I turned 17, my parents were kind enough to buy me the then-current car I lusted after, a nice 1967 Volvo 122. I drove the damn thing for seven and a half years in Washington state and California. Drove it to LA, on a daily 120-mile commute, and back one summer...drove it down again the next summer, and at the end went to Vegas and drove back up to WA with a bolt missing from the transmission (oil refills every tank, yeeehaw). Sold it before I came out here a few months ago...was sad to see it go, but it was time. Some stories on that car...oh! I was supposed to talk about the SVT. Well after getting here I ran through a sort of interim diesel Benz, but a few weeks ago I walked onto a lot not looking to buy anything, so of course walked (wheeled?) off with the 99. I'd sort of forgotten they existed up til that point, truthfully. So far it's been great...that's my extended story...

Well here we go...My brother bought the car about a year and half ago, his girlfriend co-signed for him, about 8 months later, they broke up, and since her name was on the paper work too, she thought she could take the car even though my brother was the one paying for it. Well push came to shove and instead of the bank getting the car, my dad decided to take it. He kept it for about 3-4 months driving it back and forth to work. Then he bought a 2000 ZTS Focus and asked me if I wanted the car...Hmmm a beat up faded piss yellow 81 chevy truck, or a nice little Contour...I took the car of course, he tranfered everything over to me and now I have it.

Mine came around because of a newer car. I went Christmas shopping in December of `99. I found the coolest Infra-Red Focus sedan. It had both SE packages on it (gave it the spoiler/foggies and the Zetec). It was cool, but too expensive. I hated it. I tried to do everything I could to get rid of it.

Went back to the dealer where I bought it. The dealer asked me what I wanted. I told him that if it was a car, it couldn't be a 2-door. Car or truck, it had to be almost any other color, but green (no offense anyone! ). He told me he had a car that fit what I was looking for. Here was this cool blue colored Contour. I drove it, and was pretty happy. Seemed a little more powerful then the Focus did. Not quite as top heavy either. I left with the car that night, a half hour later, the Focus left with its new owner.

May 22, 2000 was the day I bought it. May 22 was also the day I broke up with my last ex.
