How'd you commuters in NoVA suburbs fare this morning? It was a mess...took 2 hrs to get to work. Lots of car wrecks on I-66, Ffx Co Pkway

FFX co PKWY was really slow. I'm still trying to understand how some people can get there cars to do the things the do to them. I saw a truck with both front tires turned into the front of the car like this/\ and 50 feet away a mercedes was resting up on its floorpan on a curb median.

My commute was fine... same as everyday up Rt. 7, slow and steady. My wife told me she had a scary moment when she slid down a hill almost into an intersection though! eek

The ice this morning was deceiving because the precip was hitting the windshield as water but freezing on contact on the pavement. One dude who slid off didn't turn his car into the skidslide and ended up offroading.

I love VA ice storms. I begin to wonder if brain freeze comes into play.
