was wondering if there is a 1/4 track in Va anywhere or do i have to travel 100 miles to find one? I alway go to Summerduck dragway but thats only a 1/8th mile track and then you got old dominion i think its called in masassas which again is a 1/8th mile track ... why couldnt they just make the 1/4 mile instead of the 1/8th ? Oh well might have to stick to the 1/8th mile track

The only 1/4 mile tracks around the area are MIR, which is down past Fredricksburg. Capital Raceway, which is up in upper MD, and then you have 75/80 Racetrack, up by Mt. Airy MD. My personal favorite is MIR, nice clean facility.

Budds Creek, not sure if that is the same as MIR but it is in MD, and takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there from FFX.

Ya, MIR is in Buds Creek. There is also a motorcycle track there for racing dirtbikes and such.

Yup, thats what I thought. sorry for the confusion. went to the Fathersday MX few years back and RC won the 125. Also race BMX there....I'm bored at work today.

So you are telling me that there is a 1/4 mile track in fredericksburg? if so do they have a website or anything that i can look up some info on them

Try this, MIR Raceway , its not IN fredricksburg, its past it, in MD.

Good afternoon my East Coast brothers. I use to be stationed in DC and then in Norfolk years ago. I lived in Arlington and then moved to Fredericksburg while i was stationed in DC. Been to Buds Creek a few times and it was great. One of the firefighters I volunteered with in Spotsylvania lived near there. I haven't been in Va since Nov 96 and have been dieing to come back for a visit. LOL I just have to find a job first. hehehe Anyway....I just noticed ya'll have your own branch and wanted to say hey.
