Ok, called the local tuner shop, Extreme Performance, and they will weld my Aussie bar in, and they have a dynojet dyno w/ wideband 02.
They said $20-30 for the Aussie bar, and $100/hr. for the dyno tuning. I guess that is the going rate. They said the average tune is 45 minutes, but full hour is required.
Ok here is the plan. Drive to the shop 2 hours early, open hood and let it cool down. Walk over to the Lowes/Mall and hang out.
Hook up the laptop to the OBDII datalogger. Log the results and see what the wideband 02 is saying compared to the OBDII.
Do three base line runs, how long between runs? 5 minutes?
Adjust the a/f ratio, takes 30 seconds to adjust: 5% MAF voltage richer 5% MAF voltage leaner 10% MAF voltage richer 10% MAF voltage leaner
or should I go 2%, 2%, 5%, 5% because the 02 sensor changes from .92 to .93 with 1-2% adjustments.
Adjust to highest HP across the band then two more dynos for peak horsepower?
How many dyno runs in an hour: 6, 9, 12?
Should I go in flat -10% across the board, which is my closed loop setting, for 0-1 LTFT, or should I go in with the equalizer like settings from my 3 and 4th gear highway runs from 2k-6.8k that I have adjusted the vehicle a/f values to 02 sensor values of .93 or .94 across the rpm band.
