Road and Track lists the A4 2.8 quatro at 7.1 and 15.5 IIRC (MTX I think) - is that about right?
Edmunds says a 97 2.8 quattro (automatic) will do 0-60 in about 8.3.
How much do your 18's slow you down?[/b]The 7.1 to sixty is the 2.8 DOHC 30V mine is SOHC 12V and is factory rated at 170hp (at the flywheel) i have timed my car with a G TECH and my best time to 60 was 7.4 (catback exhaust drop in K&N filter and stock 16" wheels). If the wheels have slowed me down i havent noticed it yet. BTW 2.8 12V MTX is factory rated at 7.8 to 60

Here\'s a little video I found somewhere. (Please save as) No gauge display. Sorry 1 handed steering, shifting, and filming is very hard or so I've heard. :p (I have a 0-90mph of the gauges) Temp was around 90 and humidity above 90% Shifts were right at 7400rpm. (39mph, 63mph, & 92mph respectively)

I dont know I thought it would be dog slow cuz I heard a whistling under his hood.. I am even the one who said that.. sheesh get the point, maybe the fact that its supercharged has something to do w/it????

17 seconds would put it neck-and-neck with a C5... hmmm... better have that speedo looked at.

Being a bench racer, C/D has the CSVT going 0-120 in 33.1 sec. I guess these cars are slow from the factory. My wifes TL hits 100mph in about 16 flat. 1/4 mile performance is similar to yours. 14.9 @ 95. No way is she hitting 120 anywhere near that fast. Your 0-60 is 6 sec. Another 30mph takes 7 more seconds. Then you accelerate another 30mph in 4 seconds? You can see my confusion. I'm just trying to understand.
