Ya know, one thing that sticks out in front of me... that little 'dip' around 3500 RPM or so.. when the secondaries finally open (late).. it's muuuuuuuuuuuuuch smaller than it normally would be. I was hoping it'd all but go away and I pretty much got what I wanted. Thank Go.. er, Hightower. Drop a Quaife and a 3L block in there (with, of course, upgraded internals) build up the tranny and you're out smokin' C5s, Cobras and VR-4s with the best of 'em.. smile

a few questions, (you never answered them before!)

what are you using for fuel managment/timing retard, and how much ignition retard are you using

any upgrades to the fuel system itself? (ie. bigger injectors/inline pump/FPR)

ive been thinkng those Qs in my head for a while.

very very impressed by the numbers.. how much boost where you running to acheive these numbers anyhow?

sorry for all the questions, just really excited!

We are still feeling out a couple of options on the engine management. We should be able to make this a small no brainer package after we decide what works the best. I have 225 dyno runs on this kit and anticipate 225 more.


If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

If I had to do again, it would be turbo all the way, but alas you were 1 year to late. Now I'm stuck with the vortech.

I know I may sound like a broken record but what do you think the projected 1/4 mile times would be with some good rubber and the quialfe diff. I am concerned about the motor mounts holding up. I just broke one on top last night with just a quialfe and a mettalic clutch setup. confused
