The cd4e seems to be a pretty durable setup, of course it could be outside the trans that's the problem? There seem to be a lot less ATX failures than MTX failures laugh of course that could have to do with the ammount of power most of us are putting down frown

Every time I come online I wonder if the forums will be up

Hi Guys,This is my first post on this site.I have a 99 atx cougar that ran a 14.3@98mph at Moroso down here in Florida. So its possible to acheive these numbers.I ran a 50 shot for about a year then upgraded to a 100 shot thats when I blew out both motor and tranny mounts the flex while revving the engine was incredible.I'M surprised I didn't loose the engine. No aftermarket companies made stronger motor or tranny mounts for the atx so I brought the car to the dealer and paid dearly!I removed N.O.S and sold it.The saying "its not a matter of will something break using N.O.S but rather when is so true"(but it was so fun)Thanks,Ron

eek eek I wouldn't run anything higher than a 50 shot anyway.

Now, I'm runnin a 3.0L and I'm thinkin of NOS again...

BTW Have you guys seen the article in SCC with a Turboed Matrix runnin 7psi on an engine w/ 11.5:1 compression ratio!!!!
The key is proper fuel/engine management...

I put my ATX on the dyno again today... it put down 155.0hp and 146.9tq this time around.

The curves were nice too... over 150whp from 5800 to 7000 and over 140TQ from 3800-5400. In spite of having no secondaries, the car is putting down around 130TQ from as low as 1900RPM (where the test started).

Frank's Cougar did some nice numbers today at Crazy Horse.

I only pulled 121.4 WHP / 129.6 TQ.
My HP peak was at 5750 RPM, and the Torque peaked at 2800 RPM,
then leveled off at 115 TQ from 3500 RPM up to 5000 RPM.
I was hoping for more, since the Tour feels like it is pulling higher.

I'm thinking of doing the secondary extraction that Frank did,
now that I have the Diablo chip installed.
It should make it easy getting around the IMRC with the secondaries extracted.
