Went last night. Ironically, first run (ever) was best of three. Times were as follows with bone stock 98 SE V6 MTX. R/T:1.287 60:22.624 330:7.061 1/8:10.699@67.89 1000:13.844 and 1/4:16.524@84.18 Kinda disappointed but I guess it IS a familly car and has NO mods done to it.
I definitely need a new shifter though. I missed third on second pass and ran a 17.6 at 79

anyone here with an SVT contour that has times??
Iceman22 can put that down with his 95 SE (on a heavy dose of SVT).

I'm still stuck at 15.201@93.73 on a 60' time of 2.356 (my best 60' is 2.261). Got me some new tires (not bald) and I'm probably going to try my luck again this Friday at Maple Grove. A dyno tune would help immensely, but the $$$ is low right now. I'm pretty gentle on the shifts too. I bet someone who didn't need to drive the car every day could put it in the 14s right now. I seem to drop the time a little each trip, so we'll see how I do.

You're not going to brake it Jason. It's got a quaife! That things like a black box on airplanes. I heard it makes the whole car impervious to damage. laugh

I just need help with my wheel hop. Looks like I got hydraulics for the first 60'!!!

Jason you ran a 15.2 on a crappy day at the track! SVT's run mid 15's unless they are factory freaks or they manage a perfect run or a perfect day!
