Do you people just not trust eachother? I've never heard so much "Don't lie about your time" comments in my entire life. If you all own Contours/Mystiques than why make up false times/speeds? It's like a Camaro vs. Mustang forum...unreal.

Hey all, got mine from a while back, pre 3 liter and pre SC... This was 2.5 SE motor, CAI, no filter, engine torque strap, awsome tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE71's, 225/50/15), Superchip, SMA Y-pipe and 3 inch quasi dual exhaust as my mods IIRC. Engine was iced down for an hour in 60 degree ambient temps...

The timing lights for the 1/8th mile were in discussion for the day at the track amoungst all who ran regularly. During their attempt to fix the problem, they killed the entire timing system for the evening, hence no NOS timeslip of my 13.8 at 103 ran on the same day. frown

All the times are listed now. At least everyones who posted in this thread, and a few others that I found around the forums.

If you run a faster time, or someone new just wants to be added to the list, just post it on this thread.

You have my times listed, but a question mark as to where it was run. It's Rock Falls Raceway in Rock Falls, WI. wink

Sorry I haven't posted sooner..........

Cecil County Dragway, Maryland
r/t - .688
60' - 2.273
330 - 6.378
1/8 - 9.786 @ 72.81
1000- 12.717
1/4 - 15.271 @ 80.25

Let me tell you the story behind this run. I was at the V6 shootout last year, so I wasn't just out there for time trials, I was actually running a bracket style race. I wanted to be consistant through out the day, so I was shifting around 6250. I had been running 15.4-.5's all day(which is what I wanted to do, be consistant, not fast). I dialed in at a 15.3 and made it past the first round. I lined up next to a V6 Firebird who was dialed in 16.22, so he had almost a full second head start. Well, I think that messed my head up, seeing him get out so far ahead. I left on a OK light and I didn't stick to my game plan....I started shifting a little higher that the past runs. At about half track I caught him(I found out later that he blew a shift), but my dumb a$$ stayed on the gas hard. Well, as I get to the trap, I hit the breaks (not enough), just to make sure I wouldn't break out. Well, I did break out, and to add insult to injury I was on my way to my best run.....actually it was my best ET, and I was on the breaks. mad

I wonder what I would have run if I stayed on the gas confused I guess I'll just have to find out this year.
