The front struts are different in the way that they seat the springs. You can use the 98 and newer struts as long as you use the 98 and newer springs. The rear struts are interchangable. between the early and late cars.
To use the SVT suspension you would need front and rear struts and springs as well as front and rear sway bars and the necessary sway bar bushings to match.
You should be aware though, that the 95 to 97 SE suspension is stiffer than the SVT and might be a better choice if you are trying to make the car handle better.
