Take a look at where the actual weld for the spring seat is, physically. Measuring it, the sleeve sits about 3/4" to 1" lower than the sleeve does on the BAT strut. In turn, this gives our car that much more of a drop!!
The spring seat was removed for coil over installation. The spring seat on a stock strut is where the BAT one is, as well as any other brand I would figure. Koni, however, is a bit different with a slightly lower mounting of the seat.
