I was wondering if my 2000 SVT Springs and Struts would bolt on any year Contour? Will the springs fit all the perches okay? I figured they would but thought id ask first. Thanks.

I beleive it does I was looking the part number in the comptuer where i work (Pep boys) for the struts and i realize that the struts are the same number through out all years....included The Mercury Mistique(sp) and I believe the cougars too.....

So the springs will fit anything 98+ and it looks like the struts will work with them all. Intresting.

I was under the impression that the SVT springs/struts would not fit the pre 98s.

If you keep the SVT struts & springs together they can go in any tour. The older tours have a pig-tail bottom end on the front spring, so you cant mix old struts with new springs and visa-versa. I'm finishing up doing new syle struts & springs tonight/tomorrow. (...and balljoints, and wheelbearings, and maybe even an outer CV :rolleyes: )
