Did recall on catylitic converters.
That part was ok.
But they did not put intermediate shaft support bearing bolts back in.
Car vibrated at high speeds & started to leak.
Dealer said all was well& no leaks. I found the bolts missing. They replaced bolts.
Now I have very strange wear patterns on tires & grease leaking from tripod joint & a lot of vibration. What can I expect the dealer to stand good for?

I'm definately not into dealer bashing mainly because I work for a dealer. The problem I have though is the guy that did the recall didn't know what he was doing. There is no need to touch any of the driveline components, axles, joints, etc. to do this recall. Rick

I hope you got a service ticket that explains they replaced the bolts.

Take it back one more time and have the service manager go for a ride with you.

When he feels the vibration simply state it wasn't there before, I want it made right, without cost.

Then tell him he will go for a ride with you after to make sure it is right.

That isn't so unreasonable.
