I picked up a set of ES rear sway bar bushings last summer, and just threw on the two main ones. Well, they've been squeeking like crazy since november, and I finally took them off to grease last saturday. While doing so, I remembered that I had the other bushings for the end links somewhere, so I spent a while looking for them.

Well, yesterday I found and installed them, but there was a problem. The top part of the link that attaches to the bar had these flimsy rubber bushings that were practically gone. I figured they were responsible for most of the rattles I had. After some handywork, and the sacrifice of a perfectly sized garden hose, the end links are now tighter than a 9 year old school girl.

It's not over..

While installing them, I noticed that one of the bushings I had greased last week had about 2mm of play. I have no idea what caused this, so now it's time to pick up a set of new bushings..

To make the point: If you have the same problem, try some garden hose.. It seems to work nicely.

I noticed that my little rubber busings are shot as well. They fall out when the bolt is removed from the sway bar. Perhaps I will have to try your mod? smile

The poly bushings for the endlink to control arm mount are very nice though. I have had mine on for about two weeks. smile
