Hi All,
Having read most every post re: suspension upgrades I ask for a little help. I will have my BAT Euro Kit installed with the BAT sway bar this coming week. Does this issue apply to this mod? Should I be concerned about the brackets "tearing away"? Do I have a need for a pre-emptive backing plate install?
Thanks in advance, Immarocker

If you are going to upgrade the rear sway-bar, no matter what the rest of the suspension components consist of, it is a good idea to upgrade the plates as well. I had the BAT bar for about 8 monthes before the brackets tore off my car. It will happen sooner or later.
