Just turn the car over laugh

Sorry, I don't know what else to say, so rather than be a dumb@ss, I'd be a smart@ss laugh

One thing I'd double check, did you get the right springs. Or reverse the fronts and backs? They could have shipped the wrong item, or the fronts and backs got mounted at the wrong end of the car.

Good luck

TB

I put Eibachs on (did it myself) and I would have to say they definately can only go on one way for proper installation.

Just make sure your shocks are in right-side-up.

BTW - my friend with a cheap civic had eibachs/KYBs installed. He did the install himself - screwed up. Put the spacers in the wrong places or something. His suspension was raked (very low in the front, very high in the back). He went back a few months to where he bought the parts and had the mech fix it. He drove home on a rainy night (I was driving behind him) and he lost control and crashed. Totaled the car (front bumper was where the block used to be and the block was melted to the firewall. He was only going maybe 20 or 25.

Point of the story: you will get bad kharma if you try to install that stuff yourself.

BTW - i don't know if the logo should be upside down.

Have you put in your $0.02 to save contour.org?? Put in what you can spare to keep the site up. Check the General Forum.

Well that is going to suck. I am doing a bolt pattern swap on my `77. Have to change the rear axle shafts, front spindles, outter front axles, brakes all the way around, and caliper mounts. eek

Well at least I won't be driving behind myself if something happens. wink

Was the result of the crash because of driver error or mechanical failure?
