Hi, I am new to the boards and have also been looking at this same kit from bat.inc and another from Intrax Suspension and I was wondering if anyone else might have given this kit a shot or not? I stopped at one of the local shops here in Indy and the salesman (who seemed very knowledgable) recommended konis with the intrax springs to lower. I know konis are good I just want some advice or previous experiences if applicable from some fellow CEGers I had this posted as a response in the BAT suspension thread but maybe it was in the wrong place. Let me know if anyone else has used or consider using any of these products. Thanks ~DJ~

i haven't heard 1 complaint about the bat euro kit. nothing but rave reviews. i believe a very small handful of members are running intrax spings. most, choose konis w/ either h&r or eibach springs. some add the ground control coilovers to the konis. u can use the search in the top right for intrax and see the results.
...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

I just recently installed the BAT kit and I am very happy with it so far. The car does not seem significanly lower ( has not settled yet and original suspension had 66K+ miles on it) so clearance for upgraded wheels and tires ( next step for me) should not be a problem. The kit is very well balanced; does not seem much stiffer than stock on smooth roads but the car is a lot more responsive to steering input and has very little roll in turns or dive on braking. The car understeers less than stock so it is closer to neutral. I would highly recommend it. If you go with the other option, I would get the adjustable Koni's so that you can tune the damping to the springs. I think the matched tuning is one of the things that make the BAT kit one that many people on the board speak highly of. I do not autocross or compete (except during rush hour!!!)
Hope this helps

It depends on what your looking for performance wise. I have the BAT kit and I love! Just like the posts above, handling is much improved! Dollar wise the Koni's will run you about $130 each where as the BAT kit matching struts and springs are $595 for the set. How's your cash flow? I auto-x couple times a year but I haven't on the new setup yet.
Rice is just a matter of money. How fast do you wanna look!

From what I gathered the Intrax kit is a straight race kit and is not very comfortable for day to day driving!

Of course I want handling and performance to improve also, I am working on a body kit for it now and will also probably be upgrading to 17s or 18s also. So I do want something that will give it the lowered look also when I get my rims. Would the BAT kit work with lowering springs or not? Should I just get konis?

The BAT kit consists of non-adjustable (but good) struts with stiffer and lower progressive rate springs, meaning their first inch of travel is softer than their second inch of travel. Kit lowers the car about an inch all around.
The Intrax springs, according to their website, drop you a little more, more like 1.7" in front, and will definitely look lowered. Also, judging by the website, they are progressive rate, so ride quality should be ok during level cruise.
Main drawback I can see for the Intrax is that they are purple?

Maybe new paint or powder coat ....Oh yea and I was just browsing through the site and found a more "In-Depth" description of the kit and an installation guide, along with prices, $1799.00!!! WoW they better drive the car for me for that much unless I plan on doing some serious racing soon I think I will stick with the BAT kit or a set of Konis lol thanks for the input everyone! ~DJ~

I thought the Intrax springs were comparable in price to H&R and Eibach.
Couple that with Koni's from Shox.com, and you're looking at around $800.
Intrax did not list a kit for our cars.
If you are looking for a coilover kit, you are going to spend a little more money, and the BAT kit is not for you.

I am not too concerned with the cost (although $1800.00 seems a little high) I just want to make sure I get a product that will perform well and that I will be happy with. I am honestly looking at 800 - 900 for suspension, maybe more maybe less it depends  ) I was just looking into the BAT kit because it was recommended to me by a local guy and because others had tried it. Just trying to sort out info before I drop some cash. Probably go with the Konis, thanks. ~DJ~
