hmouta, yes it definately was in the front. The rear didn't drop much at all as the BAT spring was the same size as the stock spring. The front however dropped at least 1.5"...which is cool because the front was what made the car look funny with it having more fender gap than the rear. I just expected an even drop all around, which I didn't exactly get.

I need to replace my struts all around. I noticed that there are some cheap SVT Springs/Struts in the classified.

If I was to replace just the struts, brand new and installed, what would I expect to pay?

Do I definately need the new Strut Mounts?

Any other problems with making this upgrade that you can think of?

Has anyone actually done this upgrade?

Get the suspension components for a 97 SE, IIRC those are the most sporty, even beyond the SVT

Hey Guys,

I'm only interested in the SVT setup because there are cheap springs/struts available in the classifieds. I can't afford the BAT kit, or anything new for that matter. If installing the SVT setup isn't worth it, then I'll probably just replace the struts.

What exactly do I need in terms of hardware to install the SVT springs on my 95. These are springs with under 20k on them.

This is cheaper than buying things new.

Thanks

I did this research on my 1998 SE sport before I bought the BAT Kit. SE and SVT springs are common; Rear struts on SVT were different ( more rebound damping) and the SVT has a 1mm smaller Front sway ( 19 vs 20) for reduced understeer. I am not sure about the earlier cars though I have heard the early SE's were stiffer than the new ones. Good Luck
