That could be me. I installed the Roush springs at the same time and the ride has softened up a wee bit since I wrote this to someone on April 7:

Yes, they are the Cougar ones. I did before and after measurements from the garage floor to the wheel well fender and here are the before and after measurements:
front: 27" -> 26 1/8
back : 26 1/8 -> 25 1/4
So it was a 7/8'' drop all around for me, but my car was sitting lower already than a '99 SVT I know that did the same thing, so see if you're at my before's to see how much drop it would be for you. It may settle down to an inch, but that's just fine with me. I ran the edge of the measuring tape right thru the centre of the "SVT" centre cap on the rim. Note that on the back fender I measured to the top outside edge not the bottom inside edge (you'll understand when you do the measuring there yourself). The KYB's are the ones specified for the SVT (check ctamotorsports.com for the part #'s or reply back and I'll dig 'em out). The overall ride rocks when the roads are smooth - the car handles better and you feel the road much better than before - kinda sounds corney, but I feel I'm more "one with the vehicle". Turn in is crisper and more "right now". When the roads are bad, the ride is harsh - but it appears to be softening up a bit as I drive the car more (have had it less than a week so far). I road in someones passenger side who had BAT's kit on and it was softer. I'm not sure what setting the KYB's are at compared to the adjustable Koni's, but I'd guess more on the stiffer side. If you want a softer ride, you may want to spring for the pricey Konis. But you're right, the price is unbeatable and the KYB's are about half of the Koni's ... let me know if you want to know anymore.

There ya go - always willing to share my thoughts.
